Automotive aftermarket parts business’s largest-ever centre will also feature a hands-on training facility.

Quebec-based Uni-Select, a leader in the distribution of automotive refinish and industrial paint and related products in North America, has officially opened its largest-ever distribution centre in Calgary.

The facility, at 296,085 square feet, is located at 1710 104th Ave. N.E. in Calgary’s Oxford Airport Business Park. The new Bumper to Bumper distribution centre has 30 full-time employees and will employ more than 35 people by the end of 2019. It services 1,300 shops and nearly 200 stores in Western Canada, including 87 Bumper to Bumper stores.

The company said it will also be home to a 7,450-square-foot training centre, which will provide a hands-on experience with the newest technologies, product knowledge and techniques, for customers’ technicians and service advisers and members in the Uni-Select store network.

Uni-Select is in the automotive aftermarket parts business in Canada and in the U.K.  It’s headquartered in Boucherville, Qué.

In Canada, Uni-Select supports over 16,000 automotive repair and collision repair shops through a growing network of more than 1,100 independent customers and over 70 company-owned stores.
