Sales throughout the province were the highest monthly total so far in 2018.
According to data released Monday by Statistics Canada, there were 24,691 new motor vehicle sales in Alberta in May, up slightly from 24,413 a year ago.
The dollar volume of total sales also grew going from close to $1.1 billion in May 2017 to close to $1.2 billion this May.
